Program Schedule

Classes will take place on the UBC Point Grey campus for both traditional and distributed learning formats.

A typical schedule will be as follows:

SPPH 508 (Practicum) may be taken in Term IV, the summer, or part-time in terms II-III or terms III-IV.**

Elective(s) can be taken *SPPH 503 Epidemiological Methods II (DL) or Elective *SPPH 503 Epidemiological Methods II (traditional) or Elective

SPPH 540 Program Planning and Evaluation (new title) or SPPH 547 Health Care Priority Setting (DL only, previously 581D)

Elective Term IV may be optional depending on student choices regarding scheduling and the practicum

* SPPH 503 is only a required course for MPH students starting September 2013 onwards.

** Students must complete their practicum prior to one week before the end of their final courses in order for the practicum period to be student loan-eligible. Depending on the timing of the practicum, the program may or may not require a fourth term.
